Stopping or pausing at every brand on WinOMania’s licence

How do you stop at every sister at once?

  1. Choose the licence-wide self-exclusion at WinOMania. When you self-exclude, WinOMania asks you to pick a scope: its own website only, or every brand under Anakatech Interactive Limited’s licence. Pick the licence-wide one, and ask for written confirmation of the scope and the end date.
  2. Register with GAMSTOP. It’s free, and one sign-up covers every online operator the Gambling Commission licenses, including brands outside Anakatech’s licence: since 31 March 2020, its terms say, every licensed operator has had to take part.
  3. Add blocking software. WinOMania’s page recommends gambling-blocking software such as GamBlock, BetBlocker, or Net Nanny. It’s an extra lock alongside the other two, not a replacement for them.

When does GAMSTOP start blocking access?

GAMSTOP’s terms describe activation as usually happening within 24 hours, with no promise attached, so blocking software gives you a barrier of your own in the meantime. Each layer covers a gap in the others: a licence-wide exclusion doesn’t reach casinos under other licences, and GAMSTOP does.

How can you keep play in bounds without stopping?

  • Deposit limits, set per day, week or month. A cut applies immediately. An increase sits through a 24-hour cooling-off period and then needs confirming. WinOMania gives more than one route for setting them, so ask support to confirm your limit in writing.
  • A Take a Break time-out of anything from 24 hours to 6 weeks, a week or a month included. While it runs, WinOMania restricts your account on that brand alone.
  • Reality checks after an hour logged in, and the option to review your account and transaction activity at least twice a year.

Should you join a sister site during a break?

No. LuckyMate, 7bet, Betnero, BetCrown, BetFusion, PlayWins and BetLegend trade under the same licence as WinOMania. Signing up with any of them during a break or an exclusion at WinOMania defeats the point of it, and WinOMania’s User Agreement makes every new customer confirm that they’re not currently subject to a self-exclusion from any brand operated by Anakatech Interactive Limited.
